St. Edward’s School proudly commenced its Centenary Celebrations on March 8, 2025, marking a century of excellence in education and leadership.
The event was graced by Ambassador Manpreet Vohra, a distinguished alumnus and renowned Indian diplomat. A felicitation ceremony was held to honour the Academic Achievers for the session 2024, and ‘Centenary Tales’, an anthology showcasing students’ literary and artistic contributions, was unveiled by the School Manager, Fr. Dexen Antony. The celebrations also featured an interaction between the current and former Edwardians, on a digital platform, and the unveiling of the Centenary Logo by the Chief Guest.
As part of the centenary events, St. Edward’s School, in collaboration with HASTPA, organised a Heritage Cycling Event, covering key heritage landmarks of Shimla, whereafter all the participants were felicitated in the school. The initiative aimed to promote fitness, environmental awareness, and heritage appreciation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various schools, our alumni, and dignitaries, and was flagged off by the school Principal, Fr. Anil Wilson Sequeira and School Manager, Fr. Dexen Antony.
As the school prepares for its Founders’ Day Celebrations on March 9, 2025, these centenary events reaffirm St. Edward’s commitment to academic excellence, holistic development, and community engagement.
