As part of its centennial celebrations, St. Edward’s School hosted its annual Literature Fest – Imagine: Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges, with the 10th Chapter of EDMUN as the highlight. Eleven reputed schools participated, blending creativity, critical thinking and diplomacy.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by a panel discussion with distinguished resource persons — Miss Ranjana Chauhan, Mr. Vivek Mohan, Mr. Deepak Dhiman and Prof. Mandeep Sehmbi — setting the tone for two days of meaningful dialogue. EDMUN committee sessions then saw delegates debating global issues and drafting resolutions with Edwardian rigour.
The fest hosted exclusive art workshops for the school’s Art Club students, enriching their creative expression through canvas painting by Mr. Vishwanath D. Sabale, Dean of Nagpur College of Art and Design and Mr. Hardev Singh; sculpture by Mrs. Avneet Chopra and candle making by Mrs. Monika Kaushal.
A major attraction was the Cuisine Club Workshops, where teams from Taj Theog Resorts and Spa — led by Mr. Sanket Chugh, Chef Nishant Rana and Mr. Ashok Kumar Pal — introduced students to Global Cuisine with a Local Taste. The Club also unveiled its first brand, 'Chai This at Home,' a series of three tea blends created under the mentorship of Mr. Lucky Chauhan, founder of Dhauladhar’s Tea, to be launched during the Centennial Fete.Cuisine Club spotlighted the 'Millet Kitchen' theme, where students learnt the science of millet-based baking through live sessions with Chef Shruti Bhatnagar of Khanom Shimla.
Alongside Daan Utsav activities and career guidance stalls, the fest nurtured creativity, responsibility and future readiness, truly living up to its theme of Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges.
