St. Edward’s hosted its first Under-17 Inter School Basketball Championship on 31/Oct/2014.The championship was declared open by the Chief Guests. Rev. Fr. Anil Sequeira and Rev. Fr. Naveen Rodrigues vigor and vitality were in the air throughout this tournament.13 teams participated in the tournament and gave their best shot. Matches were played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The teams fought and kept up the spirit of the game but it all came down to two teams St. Edward’s School Shimla and D.A.V New Shimla (B) in the Final. Mr. L.V Sudhir Kumar graced the occasion and the final started with great enthusiasm. D.A.V always had an upper hand on the match from the very beginning and eventually won the Final Match. The tournament was a great success.
