The final assembly and farewell for Mrs. Swarit Karpa and Mr. Arun Sharma commenced with a solemn prayer, accompanied by an evocative song that established the tone for a morning filled with gratitude and nostalgia. The focal point of the gathering unfolded through articulate speeches delivered by students, adding a poignant touch to the occasion. Exemplary performances, ranging from a skit to poetry recitations and dance, enriched the farewell, creating a profound and memorable experience. The farewell assembly for these dedicated educators proved to be a poignant and heartwarming occasion. Mrs. Swarit Karpa and Mr. Arun Sharma were felicitated by our Principal, Reverend Fr. Anil Sequeira. Their significant contributions to St. Edward's School were duly acknowledged, and the entire school community expressed profound gratitude. Arun Sir expressed that St. Edward's School holds a substantial place in his life, emphasizing the enduring connection forged over the years. With deep gratitude, Mrs. Karpa carried the love and warmth of her Edwardian family, acknowledging the support of the management, Principal, colleagues, and both past and present students in her journey. The house awards were also presented during the last school assembly, with Arun Sir and Mrs. Karpa doing the honours. St. John's House secured the first position, St. Matthew's the second, and St. Mark's the third. Following the awards ceremony, Christmas carols, "Jingle Bells," and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" were sung, marking the conclusion of the 2022-2023 session. The assembly concluded with a gracious vote of thanks and the rendition of the national anthem.
